Homebuyers Survey: Is a specialist service providing a detailed onsite inspection of a property's drainage system. We assess all drainage lines, chamber depths, and cover conditions, using high-pressure water jetting where needed to achieve clear footage. All findings are mapped onsite, with recommendations for any remedial work.
Footage and images are graded to OS19X specification, recognised by insurers. These reports are typically delivered within 7–10 working days of the initial visit.
Drain Repairs & Patching (No-dig Technology)
Minor repairs up to larger scale projects & no-dig patching for effective repairs of open joints & small sections of defective pipework.
Excavations to replace sections of pipe can be a costly time consuming process, and in many cases these repairs are needed under extensions, boundary walls, and driveways. If the line is patchable we will always recommend this in these circumstances. But also it can save money due to the short time spent onsite.
Patch repairs can be 500mm upto 1400mm in length and inserted a defective area of pipework 100mm-150mm. The repair can take as little as 2 hours onsite, rather than a 2-3 day dig. These can also be carried out on bends upto 90 degrees. See the example below where there was a large void and now its like a brand new pipe!
Drain Tracing
Our CCTV equipment has a sonde built in, this means we can push our camera up to or into a defect, the sonde then sends a signal to the vLoc3 locator which the engineer uses above ground. This equipment is one of the best location tools on the market. When an issue is found we are able to locate with precision and accuracy, it provides us with a exact location & depth of a collapse, displaced joint, or buried chamber.
This piece of equipment along with the CCTV unit means we can offer sewer location surveys, to accurately plot the sewer line before a extension or new build is constructed. We can also offer a pre and post site survey for homeowners or builders for piece of mind that none of the works have disturbed the pipework.
